New Class: Vietnamese

After an amazing 5 weeks travelling around Asia we have come back totally inspired and very keen to share some of the amazing food we experienced. There were so many highlights, but for me, I fell in love with Vietnam all over again. When I first went there 10 years ago, the food was good. But our food experience this time round was fantastic. Banana flower salad, Cabbage soup (so good- who would have thought?!), great Pho, chili clams, gorgeous greens… I’m already planning what to add to the Asian section of my garden. I can wait til I’m picking morning glory & saw-tooth coriander to go with the mint, dill & Thai basil. Herbs are such an important part of Vietnamese dining- no wonder I love it so much…

Vietnamese cooking classes begin in October with a week-night demonstration class.
